Biography:

Bingxiang Yuan, male, is a doctor (post), professor, and “Youth 100 A” of the Guangdong University of Technology. He works as a letter evaluation expert for the National Natural Science Foundation of China and the Natural Science Foundation of Guangdong Province, Shaanxi Province, and Zhejiang Province; a member of the Academic Committee of Pile Foundation of China Civil Engineering Society; a director of the Red Layer Engineering Branch of the Chinese Society of Rock Mechanics and Engineering; a member of the Professional Committee of Soil Ontogeny and Strength Theory of the Soil Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineering Branch of China Civil Engineering Society; a deputy director of the Youth Committee of the Guangdong Society of Geotechnical Mechanics and Engineering; an editorial board member of the SCI journal, Advances in Civil Engineering.

Prof. Hüseyin Bilgin

Biography:

Prof. Hüseyin Bilgin research activities are in the field of response, analysis, and design of reinforced concrete structures, with emphasis on problems of geometrically and material nonlinear behavior, aiming at evaluating the ultimate strength of members, connections, and structures.Professor Bilgin has been actively engaged in several key research areas: a) Nonlinear behavior of reinforced concrete members, b) Seismic performance assessment of RC and masonry buildings, c) Static and dynamic structural stability.

Assoc. Prof. Qingzi Luo

Biography:

Assoc. Prof. Qingzi Luo's research involves experimental and theoretical methods of soft soil foundation settlement and soft foundation treatment, and her major achievements have been published in the Sunset journals of Geotechnical Science, Journal of Geotechnical Engineering, Geomechanics and Engineering, etc. She is also the chairperson of the National Natural Science Foundation Youth Project and the Guangdong Province Natural Science Foundation Doctoral Research Initiative Project, and she was awarded the National Prize of Doctoral Students in 2014 and the Second Prize of China Petroleum and Chemical Automation Industry Science and Technology Award in 2016. She was awarded the National Scholarship for Doctoral Students in 2014 and the Second Prize of China Petroleum and Chemical Automation Industry Science and Technology Award in 2016.

Assoc. Prof. Zejun Han

Guangdong University of Technology, China

Biography:

Zejun Han, male, Ph.D. (Postdoctoral), Associate Professor of "Youth Hundred Talents Program", Category A, Guangdong Industrial University, graduated from Tianjin University (undergraduate), graduated from Dalian University of Science and Technology (under the supervision of Dr. LIN Gao), joined South China University of Science and Technology in November 2014 for post-doctoral research, and was released from the university in March 2017 for teaching. In September 2019, he went to Akron University in the United States for a one-year academic visit, and in November 2021, he joined Guangdong University of Technology. He has published more than 30 academic papers, 14 papers in SCI journals as first author/communicator, 9 theses, and 1 software authorization. In 2018, he received the First Prize of Science and Technology Progress Award from the Ministry of Education, and the South China University of Technology. In 2018, he was awarded the First Prize of Science and Technology Progress Award by the Ministry of Education of China, and is the Director of the Excellent Class of South China University of Technology.
